AMA Houston Gives Back is helping the community.
A portion of the proceeds from the Crystal Awards goes to AMA Houston Gives Back, the chapter's philanthropic arm that provides grants for qualified marketing-related endeavors of local non-profit organizations, helping them to better serve their communities. The annual grant recipients are announced and recognized during the awards event.

Living Forward Alliance was also awarded an additional special grant, given in honor our late friend and mentor to the marketing community, Richard Laurence Baron, who died unexpectedly on December 30, 2011. AMA Houston set up an online donation site and raised funds in his memory, with donations coming from local colleages and friends and from other of his friends from across the globe.
